Sagar is a city, municipal corporation, and administrative headquarters in the Sagar district of the state of Madhya Pradesh in central India. Situated on a spur of the Vindhya Range, 1,758 feet above sea level. The city is around 172 kilometers northeast of the state capital, Bhopal.
