Naharkatia is a town and a Municipal board in Dibrugarh district in the Indian state of Assam. It is well known for its petroleum and gas reserves. Earlier, Duliajan, the head office town of Oil India Limited was in its circle. However, the towns are close, within a 30-minute journey.
