Mattanur, also spelled Mattannur, is a town, municipality, and aerotropolis in the Kannur district, of Kerala, India. Mattanur is about 27 km east of Kannur and Thalassery, two major towns of the district. Mattanur lies between Kannur, Thalassery, and Iritty.
